Play-Doh Babies
A fun, hands-on crafting game that lets guests channel their inner sculptor. They must create their best representation of a baby using modeling clay.
What you need
- Small containers of Play-Doh or modeling clay (enough for each guest to have one)
- Paper plates (to use as a workspace/display)
- Toothpicks or plastic tools for detailing (optional)
- Paper slips for names
Setup
- Place a container of Play-Doh, a paper plate, and a name slip at each guest's seat.
- If you are feeling generous, provide a few different colors of clay for guests to share.
How to play
- Tell guests they have exactly 10 minutes to sculpt a baby out of their Play-Doh.
- Start a timer. Guests can get as creative or as anatomically correct as they wish.
- When the timer rings, everyone must stop sculpting. Guests write their names on the paper slips and place them next to their creations.
- The parents-to-be act as the judges. They review all the sculptures and award prizes for 'Most Realistic', 'Funniest', and 'Creepiest'.
- It's a great opportunity for photos of the bizarre and cute creations.
Variations
- Blindfolded Sculpting: Make it vastly more difficult by having guests sculpt the baby while blindfolded.
- Themed Sculptures: Ask guests to sculpt the baby doing a specific activity, like 'Baby playing sports' or 'Baby sleeping'.
