Emoji Pictionary: Nursery Rhymes
A modern twist on a classic game. Guests must decipher classic nursery rhymes and children's stories written entirely in emojis.
What you need
- Printed Emoji Pictionary game sheets
- Pens or pencils for guests
- An answer key for the host
Setup
- Design or download a printable sheet featuring 10-15 lines of emojis that represent famous nursery rhymes. (e.g., ⭐️⭐️🦇 - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star; 🕷️🌧️☀️ - Itsy Bitsy Spider).
- Print enough copies for everyone attending.
How to play
- Hand out the sheets face down. Tell guests they have exactly 5 minutes to decode as many emoji phrases as possible.
- Start the timer and let the brain-teasing begin.
- When time is up, read the correct answers aloud.
- The guest who deciphers the most nursery rhymes correctly wins the game.
Variations
- Baby Movies: Instead of nursery rhymes, use emojis to represent popular movies featuring babies (e.g., Boss Baby, Three Men and a Baby).
- Create Your Own: Give guests blank paper and ask them to write a nursery rhyme in emojis. The host has to guess what it is.
