Heritage Bridge
Two heritages, one name that honors both.
What it does
Heritage Bridge takes two family origins (the placeholders suggest irish and tamil) and looks for catalog names tagged with both — names that literally carry both sides of the family. If no name carries both tags, it shows names matching one side, so you still leave with candidates rooted in each heritage. Filter by gender, swap the origins, copy the pairs or counts, share, or print the result.
Who it’s for
Mixed-heritage families who want the name itself to be the bridge between two cultures, languages, or grandparents.
How to use it, step by step
- Enter the first family origin and the second family origin.
- Optionally set a gender filter, then tap Find names.
- Browse names tagged with both origins first, then the one-side matches.
- Copy the pair set or print the result to share with family.
What you get
Names tagged with both origins, plus one-side matches from each heritage, with copy/share/print.

💡 Tips & tricks
- Use the origin words as they appear on name pages (irish, tamil, hebrew…) — the tool matches catalog origin tags.
- A both-tags hit is rare and special; if you find one, check its full story on its name page before the family group chat hears about it.
Enough reading — the tool itself is one tap away, and it is free.
