Pick together
Same deck, private picks — only mutual likes are revealed.
What it does
Pick together is a two-person matching round. One partner starts a round from a deck built out of names already on Anbu Baby — one of your shortlists or favorites, the recent daily names, the most-loved names, a decade list, or a themed pack — and invites the other with a link or an in-app invite. Each of you marks names Like or Pass in private: neither side can see the other's picks, only how many names each of you has picked. When you both like the same name it is revealed as a match, saved into a shared shortlist you both can open, and the other partner gets a notification. Changing a pick updates matches right away.
Who it’s for
Partners who keep vetoing each other's favorites out loud — this replaces the argument with a deck, private picks, and a short list of names you already agree on.
How to use it, step by step
- Sign in and start a round: choose a deck and, optionally, name the round and invite your partner by their display name.
- Share the invite link with your partner; they sign in and join as the second picker.
- Work through the deck with Like or Pass — your picks stay private, even from each other.
- Watch the Matches section: every mutual like appears there and in your shared matches shortlist.
What you get
A shared shortlist of mutual likes — the names you both picked — with a notification to your partner each time a new match lands.
✦ A worked example
You give itA 24-name deck of the most-loved names, picked separately over two evenings.
You getThree matches — the names both partners liked without ever seeing each other's passes — waiting in a shared list.
💡 Tips & tricks
- Start from one of your shortlists if you already have a long list: the round turns it into a fast yes/no pass for two.
- Passes are never shown to your partner. Only likes you share become matches, so pick honestly.
