What it does

Letter to baby is a full keepsake studio (the registry calls it collaborative for a reason). You compose letters to your future child — to, from, title, and body, with quick writing prompts you can tap to insert and milestone occasions from First Heartbeat and Choosing Your Name through First Birthday to Graduation/18th. Four visual styles (Vintage Parchment, Pastel Nursery, Modern Botanical, Midnight Starlight) dress a live keepsake-card preview as you write. Letters save in this browser into a searchable archive gallery (search by "heartbeat", "birthday", "wishes"), and the studio adds partner/family live sync by link or QR code, an option to pull your saved favorite names into the recipient field, and a certificate-and-export finish: print, a keepsake letter manifest, and connected doors to the bump diary, time capsule, and due-date tools. Registry note: written letters are saved in this browser.

Who it’s for

Sentimental parents (and grandparents with something to say) — especially during pregnancy, when the feelings are fresh and the baby cannot yet interrupt.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Open tab 1 (Write & Compose) and fill the To, From, and milestone occasion fields.
  2. Pick a visual style and use a quick prompt (Heartbeat Reflection, Name Choice Story, Future Wishes) if the blank page stares back.
  3. Write the letter while the live card preview dresses it up beside you.
  4. Save it to the archive (tab 2), then invite family via the sync link or QR code (tab 3) to add their own.
  5. Finish in tab 5: print a letter or the Keepsake Letter Manifest & Certificate.

What you get

Styled keepsake letters in a searchable browser archive, printable with a manifest/certificate, shareable to family by sync link or QR.

✦ A worked example

You give it

Milestone: 💓 First Time Hearing Heartbeat; To: Little One; From: Mum & Dad.

You get

"Dear Little One, we cannot wait to meet you…" rendered on a Pastel Nursery keepsake card — archived, printable, and ready for a grandparent to add the next letter.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • The "Choosing Your Name" occasion is this site at its best: write the name-story letter the week you decide, not years later from memory.
  • Write the graduation letter NOW, while the baby is hypothetical — future-you will not believe what present-you was thinking, and that is the treasure.

Enough reading — the tool itself is one tap away, and it is free.
