What it does

The Anagram solver takes a seed — a name, a word, any handful of letters — and finds catalog names that use the same letters. It is a beloved trick for meaningful naming: anagram a parent's name, a beloved word, or a hometown, and see which real names are hiding inside it. Results copy several ways: names, names + origins, or just the count.

Who it’s for

Puzzle brains and sentimental namers — anyone who wants the name to secretly contain something.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Type the letters or name to anagram (press / to focus the box).
  2. Tap Find anagrams and browse catalog names built from the same letters.
  3. Copy the names, names + origins, or the count — or share the set.

What you get

Catalog names that share your seed's letters, with copy and share options.

✦ A worked example

You give it

You anagram a grandmother's name.

You get

Every catalog name hidden in her letters — a shortlist that is secretly a tribute.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Longer seeds hide more names; a full name (first + last) is a goldmine compared to a single short word.
  • No matches is information too: it means no catalog name uses exactly those letters — try dropping a letter and using the Rhymes or Sound-alike tools.

Enough reading — the tool itself is one tap away, and it is free.
