Once Upon a Farm Toddler Bars Recalled Nationwide Over Choking Hazard

Once Upon a Farm has recalled all lots and varieties of its fruit-flavored Tractor Wheel Organic Toddler Soft-Baked bars because the bars can rapidly hydrate into a dense, dry, sticky mass when they contact saliva. This creates a choking hazard for toddlers roughly 1.5 to 2.5 years old.

The recall follows three consumer complaints to the FDA. No injuries have been reported so far. The bars were sold nationwide online and in stores.

Affected products include:

• Tractor Wheels – Strawberry, Pumpkin & Beet (5-count and 10-count)

• Tractor Wheels – Apple, Sweet Potato & Spinach (5-count and 10-count)

Check UPCs on the packages (examples: 81000351261, 810003512932). If you have any, do not give them to children. Return them to the store or contact the company for a refund. Always supervise toddlers while they eat soft-baked or sticky snacks, and consider softer or cut alternatives for this age group.
