Bottle brush
A sponge-tipped brush sized for bottles, nipples, and pump parts.
feeding · Best for: Newborn and infant
A bottle brush is sized where dish brushes cannot go: down the neck of a bottle, around its base, and inside nipples and pump flanges, where milk residue hides and sours.
This design pairs a sponge tip for the base and shoulders with firmer bristles for scrubbing, and keeps a smaller nipple brush tucked in the handle for the detail work. A suction base stands it upright beside the sink to dry between uses.
Wash bottles in hot soapy water as soon after feeds as you can, rinse well, and let every part air-dry fully before reassembling — trapped moisture is what makes bottles smell.
Highlights
- Sponge tip and bristles in one brush
- Nipple brush stored in the handle
- Reaches bases and shoulders dish brushes miss
- Stands upright to dry beside the sink
- Two-pack — one in use, one drying
Worth knowing: Sponge tips wear out and harbour smells — replace the brush every month or two, sooner if it still smells after rinsing.
Price note: Bottle brushes are often $5–10.
