What it does

The Kick Counter & Movement Studio makes movement sessions effortless: tap the big KICK button at every movement, choosing the type (kick, roll/flutter, hiccup, jab) and intensity (light, moderate, strong). It tracks the session against the familiar 10-kick standard, builds peak-active-hours analytics from your past sessions, keeps a full session history, lets a partner or doula follow along live by link or QR code with their own notes, and produces a printable Fetal Movement Summary Report.

Who it’s for

Third-trimester parents doing daily movement checks — especially anyone whose provider asked them to watch the 10-kick pattern.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Start a session and settle somewhere comfortable.
  2. Tap the KICK button at each movement; switch the type or intensity chips when the movement feels different.
  3. Watch the session count climb toward 10 movements and note how long it takes.
  4. End the session to save it to your history; check the analytics tab for baby's peak active hours.
  5. Share the live link or QR code with your partner, or print the summary report for your care team.

What you get

A timed movement session with counts by type and intensity, a session history, peak-active-hours analytics, and a printable movement summary.

✦ A worked example

You give it

An evening session: 6 kicks, 3 rolls, and a round of hiccups, mostly moderate intensity.

You get

The session logs 10 movements with the time taken, and the analytics start showing evenings as baby's peak party hours.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Partner notes are more useful than they sound — "Baby kicked right after juice" is exactly the kind of pattern worth spotting.
  • Sessions save to your history automatically; a few days of history is what makes the peak-hours chart meaningful.
